Youth Services Programs Adult Programs French City Writers’ Guild Ages 18 and over Both budding and experienced writers are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting of the French City Writers’ Guild. Writers can bring their written works of various genres for discussion. French City Writers’ Guild meetings are only for individuals age 18 and over as mature themes may be discussed. Ages 13 and over Come out for Trivia Night and compete as an individual or play with your family or friends to test your knowledge of current events, science, history, pop culture, and more! Trivia Night is free and open to teens, adults, and families with children who are age 13 and over. Trivia Night Ages 13-18 The Teen Book Club will discuss Cat’s Café by Matt Tarpley during its April meeting. Teens will enjoy painting ceramic teacup pots and making their own comic. Boba tea and snacks will also be available. Cat’s Café can be borrowed instantly through the hoopla app with a Bossard Library card, while copies of the book can also be borrowed from the library. Teen Book Club Ages 7-9 The first In-B-Tween Club meeting in April is themed “Reading is Out of This World!” and will feature a reading of Eclipse by Andy Rash. Attendees will make galaxy jars and telescopes, and enjoy space-themed snacks. The second In-B-Tween Club meeting will feature the theme of “If You Need Me, Owl Be Reading,” and a reading of Yours in Books by Julie Falatko and Gabriel Alborozo. Attendees will enjoy making an owl pine cone craft, games, and snacks. The In-B-Tween Club meets twice per month and is for children, ages 7-9, and their parents/ caregivers. Ages 3-6 Stop by the library for evening storytime for children, ages 3-6, and their parents or caregivers. On April 11, children will enjoy a reading of Truck Full of Ducks by Ross Burach. On April 25, evening storytime will feature a reading of Abracadabra! It’s Spring by Anne Sibley O’Brien with illustrations by Susan Gal.
