Youth Services Programs Adult Programs Storytime at the Railroad Museum Ages 3-6 Join Kim for a special storytime at the Gallipolis Railroad Freight Station Museum, 918 Third Avenue, Gallipolis, featuring a reading of The Christmas Tree Who Loved Trains by Annie Silvestro with illustrations by Paola Zakimi. Children will also get to tour the museum and enjoy games and songs. Children, ages 3-6, and their parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend. Ages 3-6 Story time with Santa will be held at the Gallia Academy High School (GAHS) library, 2855 Centenary Road, Gallipolis, with both the track athletes of GAHS and Santa! Featured books will include Baby Bear’s Christmas Kiss by John Prater, Decked Out For Christmas! by Ethan Long, and Little Blue Truck’s Christmas by Alice Schertle with illustrations by Jill McElmurry. Storytime with Santa at GAHS In-B-Tween Club Ages 7-9 The In-B-Tweens will meet at the Gallipolis Railroad Freight Station Museum, 918 Third Avenue, for a train-themed event in December. The meeting will feature a reading of The Christmas Train by Mike Lucas and illustrated by Sofya Karmazina. Attendees will also get to tour the museum. Tween & Teen Book Club Ages 8-12; Ages 13-18 The Tween and Teen Book Clubs will meet at Silver Screen VII for a viewing of Mufasa: The Lion King (Rated PG) in December. Tweens are encouraged to read The Lion King graphic novel, while teens should read “A New Dawn: What if Mufasa Gave Up His Throne” by Farrah Rochon in A Twisted Tale Anthology.
