‘Color Me Happy’ Adult Coloring Ages 18 and over Adult coloring will be held at the Gallipolis Municipal Building, 333 Third Avenue, Gallipolis, in November. Coloring sheets and coloring gel pens/pencils will be provided or you can bring your own. Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxing coloring session and genial conversation. “Color Me Happy” is only for adults ages 18 and over. No children are permitted. Weekly Programs (Please note: Due to the “Animal Inside Out” exhibit, which will be open at the library until Jan. 4, some programs will be held at offsite locations.) Storytime Ages 3-6 On Tuesday, Dec. 3, storytime will be held at the Gallipolis First Church of God, 1723 State Route 141. On Tuesday, Dec. 10, storytime will be held at the Gallipolis Freight Station Museum, and on Monday Dec. 16, storytime will held the GAHS library. There will be no storytime on Dec. 31. Yoga Ages 16 and over Yoga will be held each Monday evening in December at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 541 Second Avenue, Gallipolis. Waiver form required. Pat-a-Cake Lapsit Ages birth-3 Lapsit will be held on Thursday mornings at the Gallipolis First Church of God, 1723 State Route 141, Gallipolis. There will be no lapsit on Thursday, Dec. 26. Needlework Circle Ages 12 and over Needlework Circle will continue to be held each Wednesday afternoon at the library. Anyone age 12 and over with an interest in any of the fiber arts is welcome and encouraged to attend. Ages 18 and over The Adult Book Club will meet at the Gallipolis Municipal Building, 333 Third Avenue, in December. The featured book is American Grit: A Woman’s Letters from the Ohio Frontier by Anna Bentley and edited by Emily Foster. Copies of the book can be borrowed from the library. The eBook can be borrowed from the hoopla app. Book club attendees are also encouraged to bring their completed forms for 2025 book selections to this meeting. Adult Book Club ‘Game on!’ Game Day Saturday Ages 12 and over (under 12 with an adult) Bring a friend and stop by the library for Game Day. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own games or select a game from the library’s board game collection. Attendees are welcome to stay for the entire event or play games as time allows.
