‘Color Me Happy’ Adult Coloring Ages 18 and over Adult coloring will be held at the Gallipolis Municipal Building, 333 Third Avenue, Gallipolis, in October. Coloring sheets and coloring gel pens/pencils will be provided or you can bring your own. Bring a friend and enjoy a relaxing coloring session and genial conversation. “Color Me Happy” is only for adults ages 18 and over. No children are permitted. Weekly Programs (Please note: Due to the “Animal Inside Out” exhibit, which will be open at the library until January 4, some programs will be held at offsite locations in October. Storytime Ages 3-6 On Tuesdays, Oct. 8, 15, and 29, storytime will be held at the Gallipolis First Church of God, 1723 State Route 141, Gallipolis. On Monday, Oct. 21, storytime will be held at the Gallia Academy High School library, 2855 Centenary Road, Gallipolis. Yoga Ages 16 and over Yoga will be held each Monday evening in October at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 541 Second Avenue, Gallipolis. Waiver form required. Pat-a-Cake Lapsit Ages birth-3 Lapsit will be held each Thursday morning in October at the Gallipolis First Church of God, 1723 State Route 141, Gallipolis. Needlework Circle Ages 12 and over Needlework Circle will continue to be held each Wednesday afternoon at the library. Anyone age 12 and over with an interest in any of the fiber arts is welcome and encouraged to attend. Ages 18 and over The Adult Book Club will meet at the Gallipolis Municipal Building, 333 Third Avenue, for its October meeting. The featured book is The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton. Copies of the book can be borrowed from the library. The audiobook and eBook can be borrowed from the hoopla app or the Ohio Digital Library via the Libby app. Bossard Library’s Adult Book Club typically meets on the last Saturday of each month. Adult Book Club French City Writers’ Guild Ages 18 and over Both budding and experienced writers are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting of the French City Writers’ Guild. Writers are encouraged to discuss their original works of various genres, including non-fiction, poetry, genre fiction, and drama. Guild meetings are only for individuals age 18 and over.
