Join us on Saturday, November 29 at 1:00 PM for a festive “Food for Thought” program, where we will celebrate recipes from our favorite movies.
Our cookbook for this festive adventure will be The Christmas Movie Cookbook by Julia Rutland. This cookbook not only has traditional sweet treats and drinks but also stick-to-your-ribs meals as well.
Patrons who wish to attend are encouraged to check out Ms. Rutland's cookbook from the library. You may also elect to look at a copy of the cookbook in house and copy a couple of recipes (for free) you might like to try.
We encourage you to try a recipe or two at home before the meeting and let everyone know how it went. You are welcome to bring one of the prepared recipes or your favorite holiday recipe with you to share but this is not a requirement.
We will have a few of the recipes already prepared for you to try out.
This program is free and open to those ages 18 and above.
Bon appetit!
