While this event is unique among library programs, it aligns with the library's goal of providing educational opportunities to the community it serves.

"Bossard Library continually strives to provide opportunities that are engaging, educational, and entertaining for community members," Director Debbie Saunders said. "We aptly named this library program the "Opportunity Bus," which seemed very fitting, as this social outing will allow participants to travel from Gallia County to explore the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, which covers an interesting, yet tragic event in history, as well as COSI and its many exhibits and educational displays."

"Participants can sit back, enjoy the ride, and embark on a day of learning and exploration," Saunders said.

According to the COSI website, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition features full-scale room recreations and over 200 authentic artifacts recovered from the wreckage of the world's most famous ocean-liner. This 10,000 square-foot exhibit has been viewed by more than 30 million people worldwide, and is one of the highest attended exhibitions in history.
